Happy Thanksgiving ♥

Noah brought home his Thanksgiving project from school and I'm going to be honest, it brought a happy tear to my eye. He had made a list of what he was thankful for and on that list along with his Daddy, playing with his toys and Spiderman, he also said he was Thankful for me. He is such a joy and I am thankful for him, every second I get to spend with him. Him and Gabe have brought so much to my life that Thanksgiving is a reminder to me that I have so much to be thankful for. There comes a time when you find something you love and hold dear to your heart, and what you have to be thankful for and for me it's my family. There is also a time where you start creating your own traditions and for us since Gabe is working, it's making sure my family gets a yummy Thanksgiving dinner too. After dinner we enjoyed a day of relaxing, watching football and enjoying a movie at the theatre. Such a great day, maybe next year we can have our family come down... Since at the Black Friday sale we bought a kitchen table!!! Yay! It will be here in the next couple of weeks, I can't wait to start looking for a center piece. Check back soon for pictures!

.Bate Bate Chocolate!

It has finally cooled down and we are able to enjoy yummy hot chocolate. My favorite is with the Abuelita chocolate, served with buttered toast. Chocolate for the soul ♥

Nannanananannana Batman!!

Today Noah and I went to the library, shopping for his Superhero Birthday party and watched Tangled in 3D... Another busy Saturday for us to say the least. By the way, Tangled in 3D was such a good movie, I give it Two thumbs up!

Noah has decided for his birthday party he would like to be Batman. I found the perfect mask for him at Party City along with other Superhero surprises. He has been in his Batman costume since we've come home, he's made me Catwoman and were off to fight the Joker. Daddy is Jeffery, or James as Noah calls him, and we've been waiting all day for our tea (He had to work today) I tell you the imagination on him is fascinating, we can play like this all day.

Numbers & Puzzles

We have been working with Noah, for his Little Dragons class, by learning his phone number; I am proud to say he has got it down! We had a rather lazy weekend as Noah and I had a little bit of a cold. We did hang around the house on Sat coloring, putting puzzles together and just resting. I found that he really enjoyed his Early Skills coloring book. Filled with small tasks that teach him how to write his numbers, play connect the dots and help with counting. Once he conected the dots and figured out it made a picture, he quickly scanned the book for more. He really was eager to learn how to write the numbers, it was nice watching him learn something new.

Arizona State Fair!

We took Noah to the State fair today, he had such a great time! It was so hot out today, I don't know when it will start to cool down. Standing in lines for hours so that Noah could ride all the rides he did, was totally worth it to see the expression on his face. We met up with Toni, Alan and Rayanna I tell you that little girl takes charge, I think it's just what Noah needs :) Chelsea joined us today, I love it when my sister comes along. We had fun trying all the fried fair foods and chocolate coverd bacon. Gabe bless his heart was a trooper, as soon as he got off work we went straight there and didn't leave until 6:00 pm! Well this relaxing weekend I was hoping for turned into quite the adventure. Hope you all had a great weekend as well, and please enjoy the pictures.

Halloween Weekend ♥

Spending Halloween in Clarkdale with our family has become a tradition for us. It's not just about Halloween, it's about so much more. This is a chance to all come together and just enjoy the festivities and each others company. We carved pumpkins, went to cheer on Junie at her soccer game, hit up a birthday party, and got to see my mom as she had a little break between studies; Noah had a special Halloween bucket filled with goodies: Thanks again Mom!

I wouldn't trade this experience for anything, we look forward to this every year. This year they pulled in 1,800 Trick-or-Treat's, there were lines down the block, with people of all ages to get their share of the candy. Noah had no reservations about going up to the spooky homes to get his.

Noah really had a great time with his cousins, it's always hard for us to take him from that. I know it's hard for us to leave too, we can't get enough of the family time. To our family: Thank you all so much for everything you do to make our time with you so memorable. You are loved beyond words, I hope you always know we appreciate you.
