Fab Flowers ♥

Another little no sew project I've completed, I like to call this Fab Flowers. These fabric flowers are super simple and can be used on a headband or on a cute top. I've chose these starters as headbands.

A Busy Saturday

Holy smokes! Noah and I have been on the go since the sun came up this morning. Today was his first Little Dragons class for the non profit Karate organization; Center For Humane Living. He was very shy and timid at first but once Sensei Terris took him by the hand, he was happy to go with her, and meet the other students. I thought my role in today's adventure was to sit and watch Noah as he entered the Little Dragons class, little did I know I would begin my first class as a "no belt" as well. She strongly urged me in a positive direction, to allow myself the same opportunity to not only learn martial arts, but to find a new respect in myself and others around me. I am happy to say that both Noah and I will be attending, I hope that we can grow together in this new adventure. So on a sad note, I'm sure you can imagine... I wasn't able to take any pictures, but I did sneak in one right before we left.

After we left the Karate Dojo we were headed to Target. On our way we passed by a Pumpkin Patch Festival at a local church, I had to stop, Noah wanted to see all the "bunkins". Then it was off to Target where I found the cutest candy dishes! Noah enjoyed filling them up, I'm sure he'll enjoy emptying them as well. That was pretty much our Saturday, I finished out my "No Sew" baby shower gift and we relaxed for the rest of the afternoon. Now it's time to get dinner ready, hope you are having a nice day yourself.

No Sew Project Complete!

My no sew project is finally complete, I couldn't be happier. I hope Cori and Jose love it as much as I do! Just knowing that I made these sweet little outfits puts a smile on my face.

No Sew TuTu

I'm going to a baby shower on Sunday in honor of Cori and baby Bradley Rose. Cori is due in the next month, around Thanksgiving, she has a little turkey in the oven. I came across this idea of a no sew tutu, well I fell in love with it, and decided to make one of my own. In addition to the tutu that I've made, I have picked out a couple iron on transfers to add on the front of a onsie to help bring the ensemble together. I can't wait to see her in it, although she won't be able to wear it right away, she will be able to grow with it.

Fun with Noah

Well it's October and it's still so hot, Fall can come any day now. Little did I know it was 106 when I decided to take Noah on a picnic to Freestone Park, it was just too hot to stay and play so we decided to come back home and take a swim. Noah also helped me make Chocolate chip cookies, he was so cute; cracked the eggs, helped measure, mix and spoon the cookie dough on to the cookie sheets. The cookies turned out yummy! Hope you enjoy the pictures.
