Oreo Cookie Cake Pops...

A homemade Oreo cookie cupcake mix turned to amazing cake pops! I had some left over batter from Noah's cupcakes so I baked it into a cake pan, once I crumbled the cake I added more cookie crumbles and frosting, rolled them into balls and dipped them into white chocolate... They were delicious, and Noah had fun helping too.

Noah turns 5!

Noahs 5th Birthday was a day celebrating him, with all the people that love him, and all the people he loves ♥ This year we went with an army theme, camo style. It's always so much fun getting all the kids together ♥

Thanksgiving 2011

What a blessing we we're able to enjoy Thanksgiving with my Mom, her boyfriend, his son, my sisters and my beautiful niece. Thanksgiving every year, Gabe works so we are unable to travel, this year my family traveled to us. I am thankful for many things, but what I am most thankful for is the unconditional love our family holds for one another.

Sticky Buns

Here's what you'll need:

2 small tubes refrigerator buttermilk biscuits OR 1 tube Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1/2 C. syrup
1/3 C. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 C. chopped pecans (optional)

Spray a fluted pan with non-stick spray. Combine the melted butter and syrup in a small bowl and set aside. In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if desired).

Place about half of the syrup mixture in the bottom of the pan. Then sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture on top.

Lay the biscuits on the bottom of the pan, overlapping edges (closely together) to form a ring.

Top with remaining syrup and sugar mixtures.

Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Hawaii 2011 ♥

Aloha ♥ Our vacation to Hawaii simply put was amazing! One of my goals was to capture each sunrise, due to the time change I was actually able to watch the moon set as the beautiful sun painted the sky when it rose over the ocean in Makaha. The beautiful white sand beaches washed over with crystal blue water. Never in my life would I have thought I would be standing on the very beach my calander holds a picture of. To see such beauty was breath taking at moments. The flowers, I can go on all day about each beautiful flower that God has blessed the Islands with. Kauai with the fresh rain showers and free range chickens, waking up to a few Cocka-doodle-doos was more than welcome. What an amazing trip, we are truly blessed to have had this opportunity to experience Hawaii with our family. The highlight of our trip will forever hold a special place in my heart, the moment Gabe got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I am bursting at the seams with excitement, I can't wait to start planning our wedding. I thank God for allowing me to see his beautiful creations all around us; from the smiles on our face to the sand between my toes, Mahalo!
